Had a fantastic time staying with friends! The guest house is conveniently close to the promenade, and we loved the kayaking and sailing adventures nearby. We had a good selection for breakfast and found plenty of options at night. The staff was friendly and helpful. Don't miss out on the tennis courts!
The only downside was that the walking distance to the bus terminal was a bit far, which made getting around less convenient.

My children wished for a playground nearby.

Couple's getaway worth it
The room was spacious enough with a great view of the sea! Breakfast was plentiful and catered well for my partner's vegan needs.
It wasn't the cheapest option, but acceptable.

The room was well-presented and clean, with a stunning sea view from the large bay window. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including fresh towels daily and an excellent selection of breakfast options, all prepared with care.
More seamless accessibility for seniors would be beneficial.

missingWrote a review on Jun 30helpful staffgreat breakfastsstunning viewspoor room servicesteep stairs
Spent a lovely four nights in a Standard Double Room at Arrandale House. The room offered stunning views over the harbour, which I absolutely loved. Breakfasts were excellent, with a great variety that set me up for the day. I'm grateful to Scott for being incredibly welcoming and helpful during my stay. On the downside, the cleanliness could use some improvement, especially in the areas of the room service. They primarily just emptied the bins and didn't really clean the room during my entire stay, which felt a bit lacking. I found the stairs quite steep. after a while, they became a bit of a workout. my stay was enjoyable, with some areas needing attention, but I would still consider returning.

It was just a prime choice for a weekend respite in Douglas with good value for price. The place was very clean, making it a comfortable spot to unwind after a long day. If you need a mirror for the hairdryer, consider using the bathroom one since there’s no other option.

missingWrote a review on Jun 15delicious breakfastsgreat viewscomfortable spacehard beds
Nice food with a variety of freshly cooked options, particularly the perfect poached eggs every morning. The room had a great view and comfortable overall living space, with well-functioning windows for fresh air.
The steep staircase leading to the rooms is quite the workout, particularly after lugging heavy bags. The beds felt hard, more like sleeping on the floor, resulting in restless nights and discomfort. the shower's water pressure was underwhelming, impacting overall comfort. More attention could be given to cleanliness, as dust lingered in corners.
